April has arrived and there is a lot of fun to be had in Arizona this month. Whether you are staying close to home or are ready for an adventure, check out the list of things to do this month.
Flagstaff
There will be a full moon hike and stargazing event on Wednesday, April 5th. Telescopes will be available to view the moon, stars and planets. The event is free and will be held from 6-8 pm. Get all of the details here.
Phoenix
Get your tickets to tour Taliesin West for an evening guided tour. Taliesin West was designed by and one of the homes of Frank Lloyd Wright. The property is beautiful and you will learn so much from your docent during your guided tour. Get your tickets in advance. Multiple dates are available. This is a must to add to your spring adventures!
Willie Nelson is making his way back to Arizona. He’ll be performing at the Mesa Amphitheater on April 19th. Get your tickets here.
The Phoenix Water Lantern Festival will be held on Saturday, April 22nd. Tickets include a floating lantern kit. Ticket holders are able to decorate their floating lantern. The event is for all ages and is held in Surpise, Arizona. Click here for more information and to purchase your tickets.
Yuma
People of all ages are ready for the Yuma County Fair to begin. The fun starts on Tuesday, April 4th at 3 pm. and ends on Sunday, April 9th. Entrance tickets can be purchased ahead of time on the fair website. Enjoy the rides, food and fun!
Head downtown on Friday, April 7th for First Friday. Several shops have extended hours during First Friday. This is a great way to support local businesses.
Studio Y is hosting a Spring Fling Event on Saturday, April 15th. There will be mini photo sessions and an open market. Stop by between 12 - 3:30 PM.
